Scott D.M. Simmons is an award-winning freelance artist who does work for comic books, sketch cards and magazines. But there has always been an acting bug with him since his days as a Thespian in high school, having acted for small and lead roles in stage productions of Man of La Mancha, Making It!, Cinderella (en Espanol), and a play about the Constitution. In college, his video classes allowed for creation of his own mini-stories and short documentaries. Later on, he became involved as an artist, still photographer, and extra for the independent film "Crocodile" from Barroco Films. It may have been a long time since he has been on-screen or even on stage, but the creation of a character and serving a story is an integral part of what Scott does in both his film and art work. In "Little Ole Gotham" (and "Villainy Redeemed"), Scott portrays the character Dr. Adrian Kensington, a blue coat doctor whose concern for his patients is the utmost priority to his own detriment, whose confidence is practically non-existent, and whose possessions are easily lifted by patients when he isn't paying full attention.
